Sunday Morning Music (7/4/21)
Happy Sunday, friends.
It’s been a unique week for us here. Last weekend, my family-in-love (mother and sister) came to town so we could record background vocals for Ray’s next album—which is spectacular. After almost a year and a half of being home and not really singing OUT (meaning, projecting), it felt pretty incredible to making sound and harmony with other people. That we got to do that with family made it even more special.
We had a lot of conversations about the ideological and spiritual center of expression while they were here and went down a few bunny trails of the music we love. As they returned to Ohio, I stayed on the trail and these are some of the songs that stayed with me as the week progressed. I hope you enjoy!
