In the final year of the 80s; (1989), Teri's good & faithful friend in the 'CCM Business' was lead tenor & musical arranger for "The Haven Of Rest Quartet" WALT HARRAH. Walt was there for Teri through those rough & "label-executive-shake-down" times she had to endure. In 1989, Walt was hired by producer Dan Collins (husband of Jamie Owens-Collins) to produce vocals for the final installment of Maranatha! Music's "The Word Of Worship" Series: "Hosanna - 15 Songs Of Freedom". A small group of vocalists were needed & Walt asked Teri to participate. I believe this was her final contribution to the 'CCM Recording Industry', but I may be wrong. Besides singing harmony with 6 very talented small group vocalists, Dan & Walt asked Teri if she would perform the LEAD VOCAL on the first single to be released to radio from that album; "LIFELINE". She did an OVERLY FANTASTIC JOB! At that time in my own personal career of broadcasting, I was programming music at the radio station about a 100 miles south of the greater Los Angeles vicinity AND I INSTANTLY added "LIFELINE" to my daily rotation...and even called our "rival" station in the area, to highly consider adding it too; they weren't too convinced, mainly because it came from a so-called, 'Praise & Worship' album & this particular radio station was more concerned with the 'CCM Hot Top 40'. I didn't stop there! I dropped off, a 7", 15 i.p.s. Ampex reel, of a high quality dub of "LIFELINE" to my colleague at that station; after taking one listen, they too immediately added it!

Even though my contribution was minutely small, in getting this beautifully produced song being placed onto two different radio station's playlist in that year of 1989/1990, I truly felt Teri's vocal, TRULY, needed to be heard, this one last time. Thank you Walt...and thank you Teri.

"The narrow way is not the narrow mind...." This post gave me goosebumps. Thank you for telling the story a woman who had to find her own way out of no way. So moving.
