Your initial writing here at God’s Music Is My Life delightfully snatched my attention. And to think today, you’ve just introduced me to Voices In The Wind. What am I saying? This blog is a necessity for my life.
I can’t wait for the Pam Mark Hall interview. Her song Angry Woman was such a feminist/crossover song for me. She tried to be so honest about feelings even if they were not the “right feelings” for a Christian woman to have.
I couldn't agree more Marsha! I wish Pam had been able to release that when she wrote it! Our conversation focuses on 'Keeper,' her last major label album, which was a major turning point for her. I wish there had been dialog/communication between women in CCM with the evangelical feminists that were meeting in largely academic circles at the time.
You’re so sweet. Thank you! This is OLD - although…look who’s talking’ 😜
That album is 37 years old this year!

That makes me so happy Eric! Voices in the Wind was a game changer!!!!!
I am always tuned in to God's Music is My Life!
Thank you combrogo!

I don’t see Keeper on Apple Music. I’ll have to listen to the interview and see how to listen to it.

Here's a link to a YouTube playlist of the entire album. Maybe one day the folks who own the Reunion catalog will see fit to release it digitally.
