Thank you for this in depth history of Reba. I have always had a special place in my heart for her as well as Dottie and Buck Rambo. But it is Reba's solo projects I loved the most. Every single album she released as a solo artist remain just as relevant today as yesterday. My wish is that Reba will release another classic to go along with the perfection of LADY, THE LADY IS A CHILD, THE PRODIGAL, DREAMIN', LADY LIVE and my personal favorite CONFESSIONS. Reba you are loved. And the world is waiting for you to once again blow our minds. 🎼

Wow I’ve ‘known’ Reba over 50 years but never knew she went through all this religious garbage! I’ve had similar experience on smaller scale and actually write a little book, “Freedom From Religion”. I know I speak for thousands when I say, Thanks Reba for keeping in cause you’re a blessing and beacon to multitudes😍

What an incredible article. I never knew Reba went through all of that criticism. I thought she was and still is amazing. She was definitely a trend setter. I have all of her solo albums.

People was not into what is Holy Spirit filled because if they only know him Many things to day would not have happened bc of pastor not giving the rightousness of the Lord in spirit and in Truth

I've always been a follower of gospel music and some contemporary. The songs I hear Reba sang wear not ready for the old Time Gospel Way. But today it would be more excepted. Because the children are into the change. I can see how she's versatile made many weary but Jesus is like that. Never know what he would do. In many certain things he never done things alike. God Blessings to her I don't go into gospel music like I use to. But I can see myself in Reba because of her tone of voice was One of a Minnie Rippleton kinda voice. It was come from the heart ❤️❤️❤️ that pleases the Lord in spirit and in Truth is how we worship God. Bless ING Trusting Believing having Faith in God Always

No mention of her Charmichael’esque musical, Cross and the Switchblade. I performed it twice but find no references anywhere!
